Sia Aidan Mziray

Legal Research Intern

Sia is completing her Master of Laws degree in International Trade, Business and Investment Law at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa soon after which she will enrol for her doctorate. She has previously practised as a commercial lawyer at a top tier law firm in Tanzania, focusing on real estate, insolvency, corporate finance, immigration, company secretaryship and corporate practice. She has also more recently served as a Research Assistant to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) at the University of the Western Cape.  Sia is an economic development enthusiast and her research focus is on the role of facilitative legal and regulatory frameworks  in driving such development, particularly in an African context.
