Video Production Internship

This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about using video, social media, and content creation to build brands and help the organization reach larger, more engaged audiences. Specifically, the internship provides an excellent opportunity to create content that will promote CCI creatively and strategically via traditional media and social media outreach. The ideal candidate would have experience editing videos for multiple uses with a special talent for assembling sizzle reels, pitch materials, and social media content. You will get outstanding, practical, real-world experience. Interns must be creative, open-minded, self-starters, detail-oriented and willing to take on the challenge of managing this campaign.

Roles/Expectations

Video production, including assembling sizzle reels, pitch materials and social media content.
Other communications projects as assigned by supervisor
Punctuality and regularity at team meetings and brainstorming sessions
Commitment to reading and learning assignments
Innovative with an entrepreneurial mindset

Requirements

Video production and editing
Bachelors/Master’s degree in communications or other related disciplines
Attention to detail

Work Arrangement

Work times, days, location, and hours are flexible but expected to average 20 hours a week over the course of the internship.

Remote or Washington, DC

Compensation

CCI offers a $2,500 stipend for the 3-month period, to be paid in two installments at the midpoint and end of the internship.

What Success Looks Like

At the end of the internship, the intern should have the competence to take on a large video communications project from start to finish. Interns must also show heightened level of deductive reasoning and innovation. Ultimately, our internship program will make the intern a better student, with better grades, better prepared to take on the professional world.
