Halima holds a Bachelor of Laws Honors degree from Islamic University Uganda and is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in legal practice at Law Development Center in Uganda, majoring in International Relations and Diplomacy.

 

She has previously worked as a legal consultant and researcher for Take A Child To School Uganda (TACTS) an NGO that coordinates both public and private efforts to eradicate illiteracy in Uganda and formulate policies and programs to sponsor free education to all as a way of ending poverty in developing countries.

 

She is passionate about human rights advocacy, good governance, and the interaction of nations and non-governmental organizations to pool resources to deal with global issues.
