This PR intern role is designed for individuals who are passionate about using PR and media relations tools to build brands and help the organization reach larger, more engaged audiences. Specifically, the internship provides an excellent opportunity to promote an upcoming documentary featuring CCI creatively and strategically via traditional media and social media outreach. The intern would have an opportunity to contribute to a range of projects, including but not limited to press release writing and dissemination, media outreach, social media content creation, marketing and promotion. Interns must be creative, open minded, self-starters, detail-oriented and willing to take on the challenge of managing this campaign.
Roles/Expectations
Requirements
Bachelors/Master’s degree in communications or other related disciplines
Experience in PR campaigns is preferred
Reward
CCI offers a $2,500 stipend for the 3-month period, to be paid in two installments at the midpoint and end of the internship.
What Will Success Look Like
At the end of the internship, the intern should have the competence to take on a large communications project from start to finish. Interns must also show heightened level of deductive reasoning and innovation.
Ultimately, our internship program will make the intern a better student, with better grades, better prepared to take on the professional world.
