Working with projects on the ground in Africa to advance the charter cities movement.

about Our Work

We are working to empower new cities with better governance to lift tens of millions of people out of poverty in Africa, with a focus in the Sub-Saharan region. We are forming strategic partnerships and working with key stakeholders across the continent, leading relevant research, guiding projects, and driving the conversation about urban challenges.

CCI Zambia is making an impact in local communities. We’re already working with the private sector, governments and local authorities, think tanks, civil society, associations, and other key stakeholders to bring the charter city development model to Africa.
